Running
NYC Marathon
Chicago Marathon
Done, done...and done.  I'm proud to say that I conquered the 2005 NYC Marathon.  It was a long, tough run because I pulled a muscle in mile 2 and I couldn't get rid of it, so I basically ran in pain for 25 miles.  I was so happy to cross the finish line.  My finishing time was 5:29:00.  In addition to the marathon, I had a great visiting NYC; it's a great town!

I'm also proud to say that I conquered the 2001 Chicago Marathon (26.2 mi) (Pix). My finishing time was 4:33:00.

Awhile ago, Nike aired a TV ad entitled, "Enjoy the Weather."  It featured people running in the rain (and actually waiting and coming outside once it starts raining) and the snow because they have the (Nike) gear to obviously "Enjoy the Weather."  Not that I've run in the snow, but I have to say, "When you're running in the rain, you know you're alive!"  It can be a pretty exhilarating feeling.

I'm voting for Sen. Barack Obama for President
