Web sites that I have designed:
- Adamski & Ehrler Family Web Site — www.adamskifamily.com
I designed the site so every time a page loads, one of seven different colored logos randomly appears
in the header. I put a cut white and
gray logo in the background of the left
navigation menu for a stylistic effect and
to reinforce the logo by repetition.
The gray (in the cut logo) corresponds with
the color of the copy and the two left
facing arrows (next to the page header),
which take you back to the home page.
I purposely made the footer a full, creative
component of the site because I believe the
footer can and should be used as an element
of the whole site and not just a place for
copyright information and links. The seven colored
slanted circles in the footer correspond to the seven colored logos.
- FOX Entertainment Diversity Dept. — www.fox.com/diversity
I am the Web Producer responsible for managing this site. As part of the redesign project, I managed a designer, 2 developers, and a video editor. I was also responsible for
the information architecture and assisted with content loading.
- Law Offices of Paul Marcotte — www.paul-marcotte.com
I was responsible for the site design and content loading to help give this Law Office a Web presence to assist with their online marketing initiatives.
- Friedreich's Ataxia Research Alliance — www.CureFA.org
I was responsible for the site design, information architecture, content loading,
and a small amount of the copy. The goal of the site was to present what the organization does, to give the
different types of users (scientists, donors, afflicted families, agencies) the pertinent information they need, and to show the real people
and families who are affected with
Friedreich's Ataxia (see the
emotional and very real "Meet Some Families" section).
- Vincent's People — www.stvdep.org/vincents_people
Vincent's People is St. Vincent de Paul Parish's online newsletter. I was responsible for the interface,
including the dual columns, which is somewhat of a throw-back to print media, but delivered
via the Internet.
- 2 Day Corporate Training Seminar — Screenshot
This is a micro-site I designed for a 2
day corporate training seminar. I was responsible for the
user interface, logo design, information architecture,
and content loading. I worked with the
marketing department to ensure consistency
with print materials and print banners, especially in regard
to the logo design. As part of the marketing initiative,
see the corresponding HTML email that I designed
(Email #3). The goal of the site was to provide information about the seminar and give people the opportunity to register online.
- St. Vincent de Paul Parish — www.stvdep.org
I was responsible for the site design, information architecture,
content loading, and copy. I currently oversee Web Editors who update the site on a weekly basis and I'm responsible for
advertising programs and activities on the site.
- SE7EN DAYS — www.stvdep.org/se7en_days
SE7EN DAYS chronicles different activities and events at St. Vincent de Paul Parish for each day of the week, over the duration of one month.
I was responsible for the interface, photography, and copy. I took the concept of a day in the life of the Parish, at someone's suggestion, and
expanded the concept to each day of the week, but over the duration of one month. I came up with the horizontal design to correspond with a
week in a calendar.
